Role Overview:
As a Salesforce Cloud Engineer, you will leverage your technical expertise to design, build, and maintain customized Salesforce solutions that align with our clients’ business objectives. You will collaborate closely with stakeholders to ensure the effective implementation and optimization of Salesforce platforms.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate as part of a multi-faceted team to build robust and scalable Salesforce solutions using the latest technologies: SFDX, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Apex, Flows, and Visualforce.
- Provide your technical expertise in client meetings and help design and build solutions to their business needs.
- Be hands-on in the software development process and leverage your deep technical skills to produce a well-structured and architected solution, and develop scalable integrations.
- Leverage your deep knowledge of the Salesforce platform (or specific Salesforce Clouds) to identify and implement the most appropriate customizations and integrations to/from other systems.
- Mentor the team and lead other technical peers through the right standards and practices to enhance and grow their skills.
- Prepare mock-ups, architecture diagrams, data models, process flows, presentations, and other necessary documentation to communicate the proposed solutions.
- Support the estimation of projects by providing the level of effort, skills required, and implementation approach.
- Support the execution of individual work streams under minimal guidance. Serve as a technical lead on a project when required.
- Experienced in leading end-to-end Cloud projects, covering planning, requirements gathering, solution design, implementation, deployment, UAT, and post-go-live support.
- Strong leadership skills, guiding technical teams and providing expertise.
- Manage technical tasks and deliverables across cross-functional teams within tight deadlines.
- Skilled in developing and enhancing custom Proration solutions for ESG energy use records.
- Expertise in asynchronous batch processing, Flows, and integration architecture for large datasets.
- Proficient with Data Loader and ETL tools to support integration teams.
- Strong knowledge of Salesforce best practices and security protocols.
- Effective communicator, capable of explaining technical concepts to non-technical users.
- Skilled in developing AI-related projects on Salesforce Cloud, utilizing open-source LLMs.
- Contribute to internal strategic initiatives.
What You Bring to Be Successful:
- Post-secondary education in a technology or business-related field.
- 3+ years of hands-on Salesforce development experience, with expertise in at least one Salesforce Cloud (e.g., Sales, Nonprofit, Service, Experience, Field Service, or Marketing Cloud).
- Proficient in Salesforce best practices, security protocols, and integration architecture.
- Strong hands-on experience with data processing (batch processing, ETL tools, Data Loader, Flows).
- Experience developing AI-related solutions on Salesforce Cloud using open-source LLMs.
